Next-gen sessions, designed for younger players of all ages, take place 2nd & 4th Sundays every month, from 5-6:30 p.m. at Flanagan's Harp & Fiddle (4844 Cordell Avenue, Bethesda, MD). Currently virtual due to the Covid19 pandemic.

The Bog Band is the premiere performance ensemble of the Baltimore-Washington Academy of Irish Culture (BWAIC)
BWAIC offers classes for children and teens of all ability levels who have an interest in traditional Irish music.
CCE Potomac's Musical Arts and Dance Week
The Bog Band inspired Mitch Fanning to create Musical Arts and Dance (MAD) Week in 2004
MAD Week is an internationally acclaimed inter-generational program providing Irish traditional cultural arts instruction. Every summer, MAD Week follows in the time-honored process of bringing authentic masters of the traditions together with aspiring musicians, singers, dancers, and Irish speakers for rich interaction and instruction.
